Summer Research Opportunities for Undergraduates

Fuel the future as a summer researcher with CISTAR. Participate in our summer internship program where you will have the opportunity to work with world-class researchers from CISTAR’s five partner universities. As a CISTAR summer researcher, you will work on a research project in your area of interest and be matched with a CISTAR Graduate Fellow mentor who will help you develop your skills as a researcher and gain insight into the world of graduate school. Throughout the summer, students participate in weekly professional development seminars, work in CISTAR Labs, network with CISTAR students on campus, and visit places of interest like Argonne National Laboratory.
